What Would You Do Today If You Weren’t Afraid?

let's be fearlessOkay guys, we’re going to do something a little bit different today.

First of all, I need your feedback here…

I just realized that whenever you are scared of doing something, if you do something scarier then you almost automatically are no longer scared of the first thing.

This won’t work if you are trying to overcome fears in different areas of course.

Example:

If you are afraid of sharks and you decide to jump with a parachute from a plane, it’s definitely not going to help you get rid of the fear of sharks, you get me?

But… (and it’s a big one) if you are scared of something Continue Reading →

The Power Of Writing Your Goals Down On Paper

writing down your goals on paperHey what’s up my friend?

In case you don’t know who I am or what I’ve been doing lately, I was living at my parent’s house (long story but you can find out more about it here) and I finally moved to my own place just a few days ago.

To make this update a bit more interesting, I recorded my first video from the new place.

I didn’t use background music, titles or anything fancy to make it prettier, it is basically a raw 6:41 minute uncut video of me showing the new place around and talking about my plans.

So without any further ado, let’s get on with it!  Continue Reading →

Leadership Beyond The Quotes

leadership beyond the quotesAhhh… Leadership Beyond The Quotes finally, the sequel is in my hands!

Before telling you what this is about, I want to tell you a very quick story (don’t worry, it’s brief and highly related).

I don’t know why but it seems like every single time I’m about to start creating my first product, something shady happens.

And it’s always something completely out of the blue. Totally unexpected and bad enough to drive my plans directly to hell.

I wrote about it before on a post which I called Fail Rollercoaster because it showcases not only why you should stand up to these barriers but why you MUST be able to overcome them all the time.

Here’s a Rocky Balboa quote:

And when things got hard, you started looking for something to blame, like a big shadow. Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! ~ Rocky Balboa Speech

…how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

Sounds about right doesn’t it?  Continue Reading →

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 6 Rules On Life

arnold schwarzenegger six rules on lifeI’ve never been a fan of body building.

Heck, I think I went to a gym for two months when I was in college and that was it.

I mean, I’m a long distance runner.

We’re not even supposed to develop huge bodies to run marathons but let’s get to the point already.

If you’re wondering why the heck are you reading a headline with the name Arnold Schwarzenegger is because I was reading Dan Sumner’s book “Marketing Through My Eyes” and he was saying that we need to stay motivated or else, our business will suffer.

Check this excerpt from his free book:

“A marketers lifestyle allows you to do basically what you want when you want and how you want to.

Now don’t get me wrong here, you do need to work to earn your crust but you can do it when you want to and at which time you want to.

I have been known to work all night and spend the whole day doing what I want to do.

The bottom line is you have freedom.

But with freedom and self employment comes the need for motivation and if you are not  motivated your business will suffer.” ~ Dan Sumner

I’m just like everybody else.

I have ups and lows and sometimes I fantasize about throwing the towel and getting some rest but as soon as I picture myself being bossed around and feeling miserable again, motivation suddenly strikes back!  Continue Reading →

Motivation Beyond The Quotes

beyond the quotesBeing motivated and in the right state of mind can definitely take you places.

We all start our weeks really pumped and eager to do a lot of great things.

Our facebook timeline is spinning super fast with all those motivational quotes and you think you’re going to be left out if you don’t do something as well.

You may even drop a few favorite quotes yourself and hit the “like” button on a few quotes you like from others.

Nothing wrong with that, the only problem is… Are you taking any action upon them?

If you aren’t, then the wisdom contained in those quotes are not going to do much for yourself.  Continue Reading →

Friday The 13th Face Your Fears

friday the 13thRemember the Friday The 13th… movies?

I used to love watching Friday The 13th when I was a kid but I also remember the fear that those movies made me feel.

A normal let’s watch a friday the 13th movie day would start something like this:

Friday The 13th: My Watching Experience

1. At first I would be undecided to watch the movie and analyze what my chances were.

  • Am I going to watch this alone?
  • Is it really dark outside already?
  • Are my parents home?

2. Then I would man up and start watching the movie.

  • First ten minutes and I’m watching it like a boss.
  • When the killings start and the panic is everywhere, I start thinking that maybe watching this movie wasn’t a smart decision after all.
  • I’m also afraid to move one inch from my spot.

3. By the hour…

  • I’m all freaked the heck out of my mind and I’m seriously thinking I’m going to die.
  • Jason is inside my house and my job is to not bump myself into him at all costs.
  • I’m 100% sure that my chances of surviving are actually, ZERO.
