Always Be Creating

Always Be CreatingHey what’s up guys!

Just like I said on my previous post (Being Consistent And Never Looking Down On Yourself) I have decided to start publishing new content regularly on Tuesdays.

The main reason is so you know when to visit the blog although I may also post stuff in between Tuesdays.

It was incredibly difficult for me to get this article published early so that’s why I’m publishing late at night (it’s still Tuesday though).

Anyway enough of explanations, what do I actually mean by always be creating?

Always Be Creating (ABC)

I can’t really remember where I got this from but the idea is that no matter what you do every day, you always be creating.

Sounds really basic yet many of us won’t (or can’t) follow this simple rule.

And the reason for this is that computers aren’t what they used to be back in the day.

Allow me to explain this a little better…  Continue Reading →

Turn The Page

turn the page arrowHey, glad to see you around here again!

I’m really happy about all the positive feedback I received from the previous post on Digital Nomads and Minimalism

I enjoyed each and every one of the comments you guys wrote for me, thank you, you guys really rock!

About my DNA participation, I’d like to write a short bit from Sandy Halliday on the past comment thread…

“Nothing ventured, nothing gained”

I absolutely agree on this thought and I learned a lot from that past experience, I think I even put myself on at least Cody McKibben’s eyes so that is indeed a big gain alright!

But as we all know, the world keeps on turning and we must turn the page and get on with our journey (fail now, fail fast springs to mind)

There will always be more opportunities out there.

While Doing Business, Get Rejected… a LOT

So I was checking out these videos from Brendon Burchard and the Experts Academy today and in the end, there was this bonus video from Brian Tracy and he mentioned something about the 10% factor.

The 10% factor basically means that you can fail 9 out of 10 times and succeed at the tenth time.

Then he asked the audience, would you be willing to fail 9 times if you knew you were going to succeed at the 10th time?

The audience of course responded with a resonating YES!

2012 Goals And Perspectives

2012 GoalsBefore telling you what I want to achieve on the upcoming 2012, what my goals are and where I’m headed to, we need to look back and see what happened on 2011 and put things into perspective.

Did I meet my previous goals?

Did I come in short?

Was it a good year for me?

These are just a few of the many questions everybody (including you) should be answering right now and decide if the outcome was good or bad.

A positive attitude always helps us out to keep the right mindset, yes.

However, we should be careful with this belief…

If we actually know it was a bad year for us and we fail to accept it, then we’re preparing ourselves for failure once again.

That’s normally called denial.

This is very common between those who somehow never manage to “make it”.

Super short and simple way to explain this:

How can you fix something that’s not broken?

It is always smart to give yourself a pat in the back even if you just managed to accomplish a few of your plans but don’t fall for the “I did great” kind of thinking, particularly when it’s not true.

This is a business, we’re grown ups.

You’re not on that juniors baseball team anymore, a “you did great son” when you actually didn’t, is not going to help you in any way with your Internet Marketing career, so be honest with yourself.

I rather take a harsh but honest advice that actually helps me, than a fictitious “amazing job” that is not going to lead me anywhere.  Continue Reading →

Digital Nomad Out Of Bounds

Sergio Felix At Brighton Train CentralSince I’ve been on the road (Brighton, England) I have failed to take action in so many levels, at least updating this site.

Getting to England from Mexico was NOT an easy task but apart from that, trying to focus on what to write and put it here for you, has been more tough than what I thought.

I’ve never suffered from writer’s block before, actually I don’t even consider myself a writer but trying to focus on my story while being constantly asked non relevant questions is not easy either.

My dad asks non-stop questions about where we are going next, what bus to take, what train station to stop at, where, when and what should we eat, should we go and get some money from the ATM machine, etc plus add some massive amounts of jet lag to that formula and it becomes practically chaos.

That’s exactly where I’m at right now, in chaos!

I had to ask for permission to the people from the hotel to let me stay at the restaurant right now (it is currently closed) just to write this update (can’t even take a picture because I left my cameras in the room).

I’ve also found another technical issue, my ‘american electric source connector’ is NOT the same for the connections made here in England.

I kind of knew this in advance but I guess I just didn’t care at the moment.

I bought a crappy one for £5 as soon as I got here.  Continue Reading →
